Dundee School – Rock Wall

Walking through Dundee University last night, I remembered a cool brick wall that has always peaked my attention. The bricks are a mess, they seem thrown together as if in a trench during a war, and they are broken and to the average viewer, an eyesore. But as an artist, I found them really interesting. The most interesting part is wondering how they came to be, and why. I’ll probably never find out, so I like to add my own little flavour of narrative to it. This sort of strange, anomalous design is what adds interest to an environment, and I would like to explore this in my project.
