Dundee NCR Building – PBR practice

There’s a great building in Dundee up at the Kingsway West, the old NCR building. It’s been abandoned for years and has been through a lot of transitional phases, with graffiti, broken glass, boards, rot, moss, falling bricks and weathering. I took a photo of it and thought it would be great practice for PBR materials, due to the sheer amount of stuff on the building with different woods, paper, plastic, metal and brick.

I thought it would be a cool idea to make the building, and the rocks, moss and general debris could be created in a modular set. Here’s the half finished mesh of the building, ready for a little more modelling then to the texturing factory.
