Deadpool Visual Breakdown

The video above is the breakdown, wireframes and real scenes of the film Deadpool. I went  to see it last week and it was fantastic, I never realised how much of it was CG. The scene shown in the still is pretty much 100% CG but I honestly couldn’t tell watching the movie. The lighting and vehicle resolution make it seem completely real, and the post-processing effects which help add realistic colour to the air and light scattering/ reflections. My environment could use a little post-process colour effect, as the scene now is relatively the same hue all the way through.

The amount of post-processing done is obviously why films look better than games because that would eat up a lot of hardware power and most likely reduce performance, so I can take influence from this but not go overboard due to concerns with the hardware limitations.
